This is probably one of the oldest German remedies. This remedy is easy to make and all you need is 3 simple ingredients. Buy organic ginger, lemon and garlic. You need some purified water as well.

- 4 garlic cloves
- ginger (3-4 cm piece)
- 4 lemons (do not peel them)
- 2l water
Wash and slice the lemons. Remove the skin of your garlic and blend it together with the other ingredients. Put the water in a larger pot and add in the blended mixture. Cook it for a while. Turn off the heat before the mixture reaches its boiling point.
Let it cool for a while, strain and transfer it into glass bottles. You should not worry about the smell of garlic, because heat and lemons neutralize it. Take a cup of this drink 2 hours before your meals, preferably on an empty stomach. Shake the content before every use, because the tiny bits of garlic and lemon will sink at the bottom.
