The Alkaline Diet That All Cancer Patients Should Read Immediately

The pH balance is not only important for the health of people who suffer from cancer, but for every person in general. In order to stay healthy, every person has to maintain an alkaline environment.

The Raw Food Health claims that the proper alkaline pH is 7.35. But, stress and an unhealthy diet can have a great impact on changing the pH and make it an acidic one. An acidic environment is a favorable place in which a disease can thrive.

Unfortunately, maintaining alkaline diet is not an easy process since eating unhealthy food has become a very popular habit.

The busy lifestyle is the reason why people are eating processed foods, fast foods, microwave meals and packages snacks, all of which are significantly unhealthy in the case of cancer.

So, it is extremely important that cancer patients eat alkaline foods so they can speed up their healing process.

These dietary changes are the most important:

The unhealthy diet will cause pH imbalance and create an acidic environment which is favorable for creating cancer cells. Alkaline diet, on the other hand, can fight inflammation and restore the balance.

So, it is very important that your diet includes: 

  • broccoli,
  • onions,
  • garlic,
  • beans,
  • herbs and spices,
  • leafy green vegetables,
  • leek and chives,
  • lentils and peas,
  • root vegetables,
  • cauliflower and cabbages,
  • nuts and seeds,
  • a small amount of non-gluten grains such as rice.

Also, you need to consume clean fish, 2-4 ounces of grass-fed meat, or organic poultry a couple times a week, and fresh vegetables and fruits as much as possible.

Make sure that your diet includes non-gluten grains like millet, amaranth, buckwheat, quinoa, and rice. Also, it is very important to avoid “gluten free” prepared products since they have processed oils and added sugar in their content.

You should avoid glutinous grain because gluten can lead to inflammation. Avoid high-gluten grains including wheat, rye, grains, bread, pasta, muffins, cereals, cake, cookies, crackers, and other baked goods.

You should avoid sugar by any means because cancer cells use more glucose per unit compared to other cells. Moreover, sugar is considered as the main contributor to cancer. Avoid “natural” sugars like honey and agave and instead try to eat fresh pineapple, unsweetened applesauce, dried apricots, or figs.

Professor Emeritus T. Colin Campbell, Ph.D., Cornell University Cow conducted a study which showed that dairy is definitely one of the most cancer promoting foods because of its casein protein.
