Every morning millions of people start their day with a cup of warm tea. Some add sugar, some do not, some prefer green and others black tea.
These people know that tea is beneficial and healthy, but not everyone knows about the benefits provided by green tea. Moreover, many have not heard of a tea based diet, a diet including green tea and almond milk.
This diet is most popular among those who want to lose weight and maintain their normal weight. The combination of almond milk and tea not only tastes good and does not give a feeling of hunger, it is also excellent in cleansing and detoxifying the body.
This diet will help you lose 0.5 to 2 kg in a day (excess fluid in the body). It should be practised for one day, not more than twice a month.
Contraindications: intolerance to milk, kidney and gallbladder diseases and low pressure. If you have a chronic disease, make sure you consult your doctor.
To make this recipe you need 1.5 liter of almond milk and 2 tablespoons of original green tea. Buy original green tea in a healthy food store, never use teabags, as they do not provide the same effect.
Boil and cool the almond milk to 70 degrees (this is important -- the milk should not be warm, but hot), then add 2 tablespoons of green tea.
Cover and leave it for 20 minutes. Strain and drink. Drink one cup every 2 hours. This drink is absorbed better, because green tea eases digestion of almond milk and milk alleviates the effects of caffeine.
In the meantime, drink purified, non-carbonated water. Drink at least 2 liters of water a day, because this drink is a strong diuretic, and water maintains the balance in your organism.
You will not feel hungry, because this drink will keep you full during the day.
