There are various tricks and diets to reduce the intake of calories, but this is something really new. A research showed that inhalation of certain scents may reduce hunger levels.

The results of the research conducted at American University “Wheeling Jesuit” has shown that the smell of mint can suppress the appetite.

In the research were involved several volunteers who inhale the smell of mint every two hours for five days.

Researchers have proven that the volunteers in the week during the research have entered almost 2800 calories less than usual.

Besides the loss of appetite, scientists concluded that volunteers who inhale the scent of mint were feeling more energized and also more motivated. But to achieve this effect, the researchers say that the smell should be inhaled through the essential oil of mint.
