Here is how to use orange peels to boost skin health:
1. Orange Peel for Acne
The orange peel is rich in vitamin C, which treats various skin issues, and AHA or Alpha Hydroxy Acid, which exfoliates the skin and clean any dirt trapped in the pores.
Peel the orange, wash away any debris and dirt, and rub it over the acne, to naturally get rid of them.
You can also add orange peels to your face masks.
Leave the peel under direct sunlight for at least 3 days, to dry, and then blend it in the blender to get a fine powder. Add the orange peel powder to your homemade face mask.
2. Orange Peel for Skin Whitening
Orange peels can naturally lighten blemished and dark spots on the skin. They also protect the skin from the harmful UV rays.
Mix orange peel powder with water to get a paste, and apply it to the areas that need whitening. After 2 minutes, rinse it off.
3. Orange Peel as Skin Toner
Orange peels naturally tone the skin, tighten the pores, clean dirt and eliminate dead skin cells, and their high calcium content contributes to the antioxidant production and leaves the skin healthy and glowing. Moreover, the orange skin will prevent premature aging, wrinkles, and sagging skin.
