Needed Ingredients:

  • 10 cups purified water
  • 4 large “bone marrow” beef bones
  • 2 carrots, thinly sliced
  • 2 celery sticks, thinly sliced
  • 1 small-medium beet, washed and chopped
  • 1/2 of a sweet onion, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 tsp each of turmeric, fennel, coriander, fenugreek, ajwain (celery seeds), brown mustard and cumin seed
  • 5+ black peppercorns, freshly ground
  • 2-inch cube of fresh ginger, grated or finely chopped
  • Fresh juice from 1 lemon (lime in the summer time)
  • Lightly salt to taste (sea salt or pink Himalayan)


You should add the spices, veggies to the crock pot. Chop the veggies as needed. Fill the crock pot with water until is full. Cover, turn the crock pot on a low temperature and cook for 12-20 hours.

Strain the broth and add salt to taste. Then, add the lemon juice and place the broth into jars and let it cool. Afterwards, place it in the refrigerator. This broth can last up to 1 week.
