This recipe is based on natural products, and you should know that homemade aromatizers are healthier and last longer than store-bought branded products.
It is up to you to choose the ingredients. You can use citrus fruits, because their aroma lasts for longer when compared to other fruits.
Spices and herbs are also good, especially if you choose rosemary, cloves and cinnamon sticks. Extracts work fine, especially vanilla extract.
Combine all the ingredients you have chosen in a jar. Place the jar in a pot and turn the heat on. Add water to the jar, and wait until it boils, then turn the temperature down. When the water starts evaporating, add some more hot water.
Here are some suggestions:
-- 1 orange, 2 cinnamon sticks or cinnamon powder, 1 tablespoon of cloves and some anise
-- 2 lemons, 2 tablespoons of rosemary and a teaspoon of vanilla extract
If you by any chance have a bowl that is warmed with a candle, you can put all the ingredients in and let the mixture evaporate.
The same goes for any home heating devices. Simply put the bowl on the device, and let the mixture evaporate.
