How to prepare it:

Baking soda and vinegar

Needed Ingredients:

  • Baking soda – ½ cup
  • White vinegar – 1 cup
  • Warm water – 4 cups


Boil the water and add the ingredients in it. Let it boil for 5 more minutes, then turn off the heat and let the mixture cool down. Next, pour the mixture in the pipe and don’t use it for ½ an hour.

You can also try this trick:

Needed Ingredients:

  • Salt – ½ cup
  • Tap water


Add the water in the pipe and let it run in it for 10 minutes.


Don’t throw the coffee grounds after you are finished. You can use them through the tubing. Let the water run for 10 minutes. This will not only clean the drain, but eliminate the bad odors from the pipes as well.


Lemon peel can help you to clean and disinfect the pipes. You should boil the peels with water, let the mixture through the pipe, and leave it for ½ an hour.
